Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA) held a meeting with the future Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Cuba, Mr. Todor Kanchevski, who will take office at the end of July this year.

According to Mr. Kanchevski, Cuba has a serious interest in attracting foreign investors and for this purpose the state has developed a portfolio of about 500 projects on which it can partner with foreign companies. He presented in detail the functioning duty-free zone “Mariel”, which is located next to Havana. Investments are being made in the area, most of which are production facilities that operate for both Cuba’s domestic market and exports.

The meeting was also attended by BICA members from various sectors who are interested in establishing partnerships with companies from Cuba.
